Title: Weapons of our warfare not carnal. (Part 1 of 3).

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, 

and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”‭‭ 2 Corinthians‬ ‭10:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬.

Every child of God should be aware that they are at war. The war is not carnal or physical.

Point of reflection:

The word of God teaches us in Ephesians 6: 12-13 NKJV:

 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, 

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, 

that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”‭

Every ‭child of God needs to understand:

1. You are at war- the moment you acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord you become a threat to satan 

and his demons and a legitimate target of the enemy satan  and his demons.

2. The war is not physical but spiritual- your enemy are the forces of darkness, forces of satan and their ranks: 

principalities, then powers, rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places, then satan himself.

3. You need to put on the whole armour of God- this armour begins with the correct understanding of the word of God 

for your salvation and then for war -to live the life of a child of God in victory.

You are in the flesh- you have a physical body,

 but you also have a soul (the mind and seat of intellect, emotions, will and conscience)

 and a spirit (the part of you that was made alive when you received Jesus Christ),  the war is spiritual.

 Your mind needs to tap into the resources of the spirit, the word of Almighty God. The armour or weapons are of God.

Remember, the word of God is spirit and it is life.

John 6:63 tells us:It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

You need to know:

1. Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy all the works of the wicked one satan: 

1John 3:8 AMP says: 

“[But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one],

 for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. 

The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].”

 Hebrews 2:14-15 tells us: Inasmuch then as the children have partaken in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, 

that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death

 were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 

Through death on the cross Jesus Christ, destroyed, brought to nought and made of no effect, nullified the works of the wicked one satan.

2. ‭‭On the cross and through His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ defeated and disarmed satan publicly and openly,

stripped him naked and made him march down the road  in humiliation:

 Colossians 2:15 NKJV says: 

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (the cross).

 3. Jesus Christ gave you authority over satan and his demons- power and authority over all the power of the enemy.

He said in Luke 10:18-19 KJV:

  "And he said unto them, I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven. 

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: 

and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (see also Psalm 91:13)

Do you desire to make a declaration of the victory you have in Jesus Christ?

When you are ready-

Prayer of declaration:

Heavenly Father I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to suffer and die for my redemption and to give me authority over the enemy. 

I confess the risen Jesus Christ as Lord of my life today.

 I reject, renounce  and denounce every working and influence of the enemy satan and his demons upon my life. 

I ask you Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit right now.

 I receive the abundant outpouring of your Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Father that Jesus Christ was shown to destroy,  undo, loosen and dissolve the works which the enemy satan had done. 

I thank you because Jesus Christ  defeated and disarmed satan and His demons publicly and openly

 on the cross, stripped him naked and made them march down the road  in humiliation.

 Thank you for giving me authority over satan and his demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

 I, by faith rebuke satan and his demons upon my life and the affairs of my life and ministry in the name of Jesus Christ.

I rebuke the working of the enemy satan and his demons upon my family in the name of Jesus Christ.

I rebuke the working of the enemy satan and his demons in the work of Almighty God across Planet Earth in the name of Jesus Christ.

I rebuke the working of the enemy on this city, this nation and every village of every nation across Planet Earth in the name of Jesus Christ 

and I command you to let the people of God go free.

 I command you to bow and to let me go and serve God in the name of Jesus Christ.

 Thank you Lord for the victory in Jesus Christ's name.

I remember the work of Planet Ministries this day, prosper it and open every door and

 every avenue for this message to reach its intended targets across Planet Earth.

The Year in Focus: Best wishes for the  New Year 2024, the Year of the Builder of the House of God. The year in which Almighty God is releasing the grace you need to complete the work He has started in your life.

Witnessing the love of Jesus Christ-increasing your reach, teaching and making disciples, building lives in Jesus Christ

as you pray and intercede for salvation of souls and for boots on the ground, as we give 

 substance to build physical churches across the nations.

This grace is powered by the seven fold anointings of the dominion of the Christ; The Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Wisdom, The Spirit of Knowledge, 

The Spirit of Understanding (Revelation), the Spirit of Might, the Spirit of Counsel and the Spirit of the Obedient and Reverential Fear of the Lord.

In this year the Lord is declaring: "This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: 'Not by power or by might but by my Spirit says the Lord of Hosts. 

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And He shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of grace, grace to it.'" Zechariah 4:6-7.

You have been laying a foundation, but now is the time to complete the building. You need to tackle obstacles, whatever form or nature they come.

Your weapons are: a) Constantly releasing the grace of God, the favour of Almighty God, releasing the help of God. See also Acts 26:22-23.

b) Releasing the word of God, standing on His promises- not by power or by might but by My Spirit says the Lord of Hosts. Speak God's faithfulness; 

God's victory over the enemy, God's blessing upon your life- as you work for God you are a blessed person. (Numbers 23:8, 19-21; Isaiah 46:9-11; Isaiah 14:24-26, Psalms 89:1-35).

c) Allow the continual working of the Holy Spirit upon your life. Make the Holy Spirit your companion, your Helper, Comforter, Standby, Guide, Intercessor, Advocate, Counselor, Strengthner

What you need to know:

1. Almighty God desires you to finish the work He has started through you.

In this year Almighty God is releasing for you the grace to complete what he has started through you. He says "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation stone of this temple, 

His hands shall also finish it." Zechariah 4:9.

The foundation has been laid and now is time to finish the building.

Jesus said: “It is finished.”John 19:20. He was a finisher, He finished.

 Apostle Paul of Tarsus, said “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. 2 Timothy 4:7. He ran and finished. So did the other apostles and the other believers.

2. You need continuous cry for grace from the fullness of Jesus Christ (John 1:16), you need grace and peace to be multiplied to you (1 Peter 1:1-2). See also 1Timothy 6:12.

3. Remember the race is completed at the finishing line.

What you need to understand:

1. Almighty God accomplishes His mission by the operation of the seven fold anointings of dominion which declares: Not by power nor by might but by My Spirit says the Lord, 

who are you O great mountain, before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! Zechariah 4:6-7.

2. While you need all seven candles burning, in this year the spearhead cry is the Spirit of Revelation. That God in Jesus Christ may reveal Himself to you, 

and that He may reveal the plans He has for you, to you, that He may reveal to you the path you need to take to reach your intended destination.

Activities of 2024: where the rubber hits the road:

a) Cry for Almighty God to reveal Himself to you. In Jeremiah 33:3 He says: Call into Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things,

 (hidden and fenced in things) you do not know. (AMP) Let Him reveal to you the excellence of the knowledge of Jesus Christ. (Phillipians 3:8-10, Ephesians 1:15-22)

b) Cry for God to reveal to you the things He has prepared for you, the future He has prepared for you, the plan He has for you: 

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who fear Him.” 

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

c) Cry grace for holiness- you need to be in His presence. Seek holiness without which no man shall see God. (Hebrews 12:14). Seeing God here is experiencing Him. See also Matthew 5:8; Leviticus 11:44-45

d) Cry grace for building the house of God- grace for witnessing Jesus Christ, ministering and building up people, grace for intercessory prayer, 

grace to be a faithful steward of substance, the mysteries of God and the time God has given to you.

e) Be word conscious- this is the word of God to Zerubbabel asking who are you O great mountain, before Zerubbabel you shall be a plain. 

Whatever obstacle may be standing in your way, be it financial. human instruments or circumstantial- declare the word and command it to become a plain.

f) Be Holy Spirit conscious- the seven candles are powered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ said I will not leave you helpless, comfortless or orphaned,

 but I will give you another Helper, Comforter, Standby, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Counselor, Guide and Teacher that He may remain with you forever. (John 14:15- 18 AMP).

g) Be in prayer- pray for the servants of God, pray all manner of prayers.

In this year you need to move to a higher intensity of prayer, a higher gear in your prayer life. See also Ephesians 6:18.

We love you as we invite you to be counted among the builders of the house of God in 2024 and beyond. As you move to your finishing line, 

as you put on your own capstone with shoutings of grace, grace to it. We are praying for you and wish you a 2024 filled with the victory that comes from God.
